Jo Bartosch is widely published journalist with bylines in the UK’s leading publications including The Telegraph, Mail on Sunday, The Times and more. She is also assistant editor of The Critic, a monthly British political and cultural magazine and a regular contributor to Spiked. In addition to writing features, opinion, reviews and news, she is regularly approached to give both expert comment and talks on women’s rights. She was the first British journalist to write for a mainstream publication about the dangers of childhood transition, and was at the forefront of investigations into Stonewall and Mermaids.

Before her career in journalism, she was chair of Chelt Fems, which was one of the largest and most active feminist groups in south-west England.
