Write to your MP about the petition
The petition to make the Equality Act Clear has reached 100,000 signatures! Now it is time to write to your MP about it.

Our letter and briefing make writing to your MP easy. They give MPs information about the petition, and ask them to write to the Petition Committee and call for a debate, and to write to Kemi Badenoch and call on the government to revisit its response.
- If you are not sure who your MP is you can find out here.
- Fill in your name and address below.
- If you like, go to the petition map and look up how many people have signed in your area and fill that in the box (replacing “many” with a number).
- Personalising the letter is really worthwhile. Add a sentence or two at the beginning saying whether you have contacted them before, and then add a paragraph further down explaining why this matters to you.
Your information will not be made public.
