Make your voice heard – let your MP know why the Supreme Court ruling is important to you.
Our elected representatives have a responsibility both to follow the law, and to listen to their constituents.
We know from recent polling that only one in five people disagree with the Supreme Court decision which confirmed that when the Equality Act refers to men and women, this means biological sex. Unfortunately, this vocal minority have been flooding MPs’ inboxes as well as stoking fear and spreading misinformation.
MPs also need to hear from the people – women and men – who welcome the Supreme Court ruling.
We need you to tell your MP why it is important to you that organisations – schools, councils, businesses and employers – respect everybody’s human rights by being clear about sex, and making single-sex spaces and provision available where they are needed.
If you run a business or provide a service, tell them why you appreciate the legal clarity.
